While Harrison Ford as part of some of the biggest movie franchises ever conceived, he will always be associated with the character of Indiana Jones. While planning for the installation of the fifth in the series has been discussed since Disney bought Lucasfilm, it's only now that we have received official confirmation that the new film will be happening ... in 201 9. By then, Mr. Harrison Ford will be 76 years old, so one might wonder why she would have impressed thus in the title role again. It turns out it's for one of the main reasons that someone has to do it. Because it's fun.
When it comes down to it, Harrison Ford, like a lot of fun to play Indiana Jones, the rest of us have to watch him do it. The actor appeared in the program Jimmy Kimmel Live, primarily in the DVD for Star Wars: The Force taps, where he was asked about the return of Dr. Indiana Jones hat. Ford has made it simple and clear. He just loves to be in Indy.
The opportunity to work with Steven [Spielberg] again and a chance to review this character who brings joy to many people - not to mention me. It's great fun to play this character, it's great fun to work with Steven. I'm looking forward to it.
It's clear from watching Harrison Ford said he really mean what he said. He appreciates a way that resonates with the fans and what Indiana Jones means to us. When the characters are displayed, the audience in applause, and you can tell Ford gets it. He says he'll be ready to play the character when the time came, and he was excited about it.
Steven Spielberg is a big part of the equation. You can tell that people love to work with Spielberg because they keep doing it over and over again. Harrison Ford and Tom Hanks seems to be in perpetual competition to see who can work with the director.
At this point, just about the only thing that we know about Indiana Jones 5 is that it happened. Besides the return of Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg, David Koepp was brought on board to handle the script. If there is no plan even for what the plan will be at this point, they have not known.
