Nearly two decades after the movie hit theaters, the original Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie, in many ways remains a top adapter video game trailer. That being said level we all know Hollywood loves its throttle, and thus will soon bring Lara Croft to the silver screen. As beloved as this character has become over the years, it is important for filmmakers to try something new and branch out into new directions. Roar Uthaug director of Tomb Raider has a vision for Lara, and it involves making her more and more people and relationships than ever before.
Cries Uthaug director of the upcoming reboot Tomb Raider, sat down with IGN to explain the new film, which will target the video game characters of this tale:
I think that makes it feel like Lara Croft is a real person, of course, what we want to bring to the big screen. I think we would want to make those involving Lara as a character. I hope to bring my Norwegian in the franchise.
