The end of the steel is not a good time to be in the city. The building, which tend to come crashing to the ground, and many of them have people in them. It's easy to understand why Bruce Wayne would take issue with Superman, would have nothing to do with the destruction left behind in the fighting. However, it's quite another thing to see it all from his perspective. The new image was released to continue to build hype around Superman to Batman: The dawn of justice and a changed outlook.
Everything we have seen so far shows Batman and Superman as a character larger than life. This image shared on Twitter showed us the film from the perspective of the people. Batman can be a hero, capable of going toe to toe with Superman, but Bruce Wayne is really just a man. Here we see him standing among the ruins of the metropolis, a financial Wayne signal in the background. He looks down and defeated. Most of all, he looks small. Make no mistake, Batman game in this fight, at least going in. It's why we've seen Alfred tries to talk him out of it in this film. Finally, this is likely to end badly for Batman.
While some of the film shows us the destruction of the city from the perspective of Bruce Wayne, they always do it as part of an action sequence. They'be seems to show us the shooting from a cost perspective, we do not really get to see what it all looks like a normal person. Another interesting thing here is that this is a quiet time for something else that we have seen very little in the trailers. We do not expect the whole movie to the big scenes, but you'd be forgiven for thinking that based on advertising. We really did not know what the character will be up to in between action sequences, but this was something. It's not clear whether this is an actual screenshot of the movie or just what is used for promotion, but it's good to see a little bit of peace among the chaos that this marketing campaign.
If we find ourselves standing where Bruce Wayne is, we may hate Superman so much now. The incentive is clear heading into the Batman v Superman: The dawn of justice when the film hits theaters this March. Which side will you be rooting when the two heroes go head to head?
